My techniques for studing based on expirience
(In this post you will discover the best techniques that work for me and they could for you)
First of all I would like you to read the entire post calmly, it isn’t going to take much, only 5 minutes of your time.
1.The 15 minute rule.
This techinque consists in working 15 minutes on one subject, and passed that time, you choose another subject to work on, another 15 minutes. And after those 30 minutes of work you take a 5-7 minute break. You can go outside, play video games or similar. And after that break, you work 15 minutes on the first subject that you haved chosen, and then other 15 minutes of your time you dedicate them to the second subject that you haved studied. And repeat this cycle 1 or 2 times without changing the subject, and if you don’t have much time just change the subject after one cycle.
2.The Pomodoro techinque.
Okay, I know that lot of you had heard this already, but here it changes a little. For starters, when you appy this way of studying you have to be sure that you have not a lot of exams, like 2,3 or 4 max. Because it requires more time that the other one. Well, this techinque consists on studying 25 minutes straight of one subject, and passed that time you rest 5 minutes. And you repeat the cycle as many times is needed.
3.Flashcards.
The first two techinques were about how to manage your time while studying, well now it is not the time, it is the way.
The method consists on writing the question on a little paper and in an otheer separate paper the answer, so when you make the question to your self you can’t see the answer (I recomed to staple the answer with the question). Me, as a student make as much questons as possible so then you can be confident in the exam. Usually I apply this method in biology, on science. I don’t recomend on language, or maths. Keep in mind that this is a way to do it, but there are much more.
4.Undreline
This is very useful because it helps you memorize only the important things. When undrelining you must know what to undreline, for this I ask my self questions like: when, where, what and how. And be careful to not underline all the frases, only some words.
5.Schemes and summaries
If you want to level up completly the way of
study, you can do this. After undrelining all the key words you can level it up doing a scheme or a summary, but first you underline. Insted of a scheme you can do aswell a visual thinking, depending what helps you the most.
