Barça FC-Monaco FC (1-2)
A summary from thursday's match between the two european countries.
Match Stats
Here we can observe that Monaco attempted way more shots than Barça. And as it is logical, Monaco aswell did more shots to target.
Let’s move on to possession. Here the review is pretty similar, although Monaco wins by little diference this time. In completed passess the white team leads by 91, and in the passing accuracy AS Monaco keeps going by 4%.
Both teams commited almost the same faults, and got pretty the same yellow cards, except Eric Garcia (Player from Barça) got a red card in minute 10, so now Barcelona FC had 1 less player for the 80 minutes left.
Monaco got 6 offsides, while Barça got 2. And surprisingly Monaco got 10 corners meanwhile, by the other side Barça got 0.
Alignation
This is the initial alignment of both teams:

As you can see Barça is using an alignation of 4-5-1 and Monaco an alignation of 4-4-2.
I think, that Barça’s alignation is a little bit incomplete, because they would need one more forwad, because they only have Lewandowski, and they have to many midfields. Monaco’s alignation for me is good.
Notable Players
Lamine Yamal: This boy who’s only 17 years old is now one of the biggest fears for other teams. He started with a remarcable first Champions goal for Lamine, when they where 1 down. He made very interesting assists, and was very active all the game.

Marc Casadó: His last minutes were incredible. He was the player who made more complete passes, the one who most balls recovered, and the one who generated more goal ocasions, paired with Lamine and Raphinha.

Maghens Akliouche: He was the pioneer for AS Monaco, he was the first to score the goal for the team.
